Annual Report Design That Turns Information Into Impact

Because your organisation’s story deserves to be read, remembered, and acted on... not just filed and forgotten.

Most annual reports never get read.

Not because the content isn’t valuable — your team has poured months into collecting data, stories, and achievements.

But design is often an afterthought.

When reports are built in Word or Canva by a non-designer, they quickly turn into walls of text. There’s no hierarchy, no flow, no visual storytelling.

The result? A document that feels like a task to read, instead of an experience that builds understanding and trust.

Your annual report isn’t just a compliance document. It’s your organisation’s story.

It’s how you show funders, partners, and the public what your work really means.

It’s proof of your impact, your purpose, and your progress.

Good design transforms how that story is received.

It guides the reader, clarifies data, and creates an emotional connection.

It turns a long document into a powerful piece of communication that inspires pride, confidence, and ongoing support.

I specialise in designing editorial reports that communicate clearly and connect deeply.

My approach blends strategy and creativity — bringing together strong visual systems, accessible layouts, and storytelling design that amplifies your message.

Every element is considered: how readers move through content, how data tells a story, and how visuals build trust and clarity.

Whether it’s your annual report, sustainability report, or strategic plan, my focus is on helping your team communicate with impact.

Because when design supports your words, people engage, understand, and remember.

Not just annual reports

Wherever your organisation needs to communicate impact, build trust, or represent your brand professionally, strong design makes the difference.

I work across a range of long-form and editorial projects for purpose-led organisations, including:

Every report, plan, or handbook is a chance to make people feel something about your organisation — pride, trust, belief in your mission. My job is to turn complex information into something clear, beautiful, and genuinely engaging, so your audience doesn’t just skim it… they care about it.

Why work with me

With over 12 years in design, and extensive experience working with NGOs, not-for-profits, and purpose-driven organisations, I understand the reality of these projects.

They require:

  • Clear communication of complex information
  • Alignment with brand and organisational strategy
  • Tight timeframes and stakeholder review processes
  • Reliability, adaptability, and a calm, collaborative approach

I’m the designer communications teams turn to when their in-house team is at capacity, or they need a creative partner who understands the brief, the brand, and the bigger picture.

Because this work matters — and the way it’s presented should reflect that.

Impactful design for purpose-led organisations

I’ve partnered with organisations across Queensland and beyond including NRM Regions Queensland, Wetland Revival Trust, Glossy Black Conservancy, and Land for Wildlife SEQ —  creating reports, campaigns, and communications materials that don’t just look good, they make a difference.

For NRM Regions Queensland, the Nurturing Nature: Cultivating Culture campaign helped secure Queensland’s first-ever bipartisan pre-election commitment to conservation — a $117.84 million pledge spanning 2024–2028.

That’s the power of clear strategy and thoughtful design working together.
