Building a brand isn’t just about aesthetics — it’s about shaping perception, building trust, and giving a business the foundation to market and sell effectively. When Rob decided to take Movement & Health Solutions from a successful personal training business inside Fitness First to his own bricks-and-mortar studio, he knew he needed a brand that could support this next phase. With plans to expand his team and grow the business, his brand needed to reflect his expertise, attract the right clientele, and create a strong presence in the market.
At Heidi Glasson Creative, I specialise in strategic rebranding and web design that transforms businesses from the inside out. With MHS, my goal was to build a brand that wasn’t just visually appealing but functionally aligned with Rob’s long-term vision — one that would resonate with his ideal clients and support his business growth from day one.
With MHS gearing up for the launch of its fitness studio, the brand needed to stand out in the competitive health and wellness industry. Rob’s existing branding lacked the professional polish and strategic clarity needed to position MHS as the go-to choice for over-50s seeking a holistic approach to fitness. The challenge was twofold:
The ultimate goal? A compelling brand and website that would generate sign-ups before the studio even opened.
The ultimate goal?
A compelling brand and website that would not only generate sign-ups before the studio even opened but also serve as a long-term business asset. The website needed to provide valuable information to potential clients, build authority in the fitness and wellness space, and engage the target audience in a way that clearly differentiates MHS from traditional gyms. Beyond the launch, the website would act as an ongoing resource — educating visitors, connecting with the right people, and reinforcing the brand’s mission so that every visitor would instantly know whether MHS was the right fit for them.
Rather than a complete overhaul, I modernised the existing logo to maintain its recognisability while giving it the versatility and strength needed for a growing business. The happy ampersand brand mark remained a focal point, but we introduced supporting graphic elements and refined the design to ensure consistency across multiple platforms.
The rebrand wasn’t just about the logo; it included a full visual identity system:
Through a strategic brand positioning process, I helped Rob articulate what makes MHS different: a supportive, community-driven approach to functional fitness designed specifically for those over 50. This positioning informed everything from messaging to visuals, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.
The new custom WordPress website was designed as a powerful marketing tool, not just a digital brochure. With clear calls to action, engaging content, and an intuitive user experience, the site:
Movement & Health Solutions now has a brand identity that truly reflects the founder’s vision and mission, and a visual system to support marketing and promotion.
The website attracted and engaged ideal clients, leading to pre-launch membership sign-ups before the studio doors even opened.
With a strong brand foundation, MHS is set up for long-term success, expansion, and leadership in the functional fitness space.
